FAQ
FAQ: Do you ship internationally?
Answer: We currently only ship to US Addresses.
FAQ: Do you have a physical store?
Answer: No, we are online only for now.
FAQ: Do you plan on opening a store and/or when/where would that happen?
Answer: We do not currently have any plans of opening a physical store. If these plans ever changed this website will contain all of the information you would need.
FAQ: My credit/debit card appears as if it was charged multiple times for one purchase after my order was declined, what do I do?
Answer: When an order is attempted with a credit/debit card a hold is automatically placed for the amount of the order for 2-3 business days even in the event the card is declined. This is standard procedure for credit card processing.
FAQ: I placed an order and chose "paypal" as my payment method and I do not see charges in my paypal account for this order, did you receive my payment?
Answer: Paypal payments for website orders can be sent to sales@empiregamesonline.net if you have received a confirmation number for your order but do not have record of payment sent. Orders that are not paid for within 24 hours of placing the order are treated as abandoned shopping carts and we will cancel the order.
FAQ: I live locally and see you have items I would like to purchase on your website/I would like to sell you items from my trade binder - will you meet me in person for a sale?
Answer: Unfortunately we are very busy and have a lot going on and simply cannot meet up to sell cards to anyone for any reason - First class mail shouldn't take more than a few days to arrive. For customers looking to sell us cards please see our buy list page for updates and feel free to send items in to our buy list (when active)
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Why do business with Empire Games Online?
I have always maintained a 99.7% or above ebay average with the old ebay feedback system and a 99.9% feedback average with the new feedback system. When grading cards I've been told by vendors that at times I am "too strict" on my grading and that I need to be more leniant because Magic players do not care. I will do my best to provide quality product on this website at affordable prices. When buying items from you, the customer, I have programmed many competitive buy list numbers to hopefully give you the best possible prices for your extra cards, collections, and possibly even your store.
What do you buy/sell on EmpireGamesOnline.net?
We currently only sell Magic the Gathering singles and a select amount of gaming product.
How fast do you ship orders?
All orders are usually processed within 24-48 business hours of order received. Large bulk orders may take an additional day for processing. Orders placed with Paypal eChecks will wait until the echeck clears into our account before shipping.
Why are online buy/sell prices different than buy prices at shows?
All website buy prices are for slightly played or better versions of cards. If your cards are played/heavily played chances are you will not be offered 100% of the current buy price for your item. Sometimes we end up buying large quantities of cards at shows and some numbers go up and other numbers go down.
Will you travel to buy my items?
Yes, Absolutely... and No depending on what you have. If you're selling a store I'll be interested in travelling to see what you have. If you're a local player with $40 in cards I'm not going to drive an hour one way for processing of your order - Please submit a buy list order. If you're a local player with a larger collection please email me and we might be able to make arrangements. The best way to sell us cards is to fill out a buy list order.
Why sell to Empire Games Online?
Attention Vendors: If you have a policy that states you will pay your customers 4-8 weeks after order is received please expect the same treatment from me - I see this policy as unacceptable but there is no reason for me to pay you faster than you would pay me.
Attention normal customers - You will be paid immediately! Your order will be processed within 24 hours after buy list items arrive (unless we're at a show) - Not 2-6 weeks later like some other websites. Paypal will happen immediately and company check will ship within 24 business hours of recieving your package! If you live close enough or if the collection is large enough I will come to you for in person processing of your order - Payment is made immediately and I'll buy items that are not on the buy list also. I will not drive an hour for $50 in cards - It's cheaper to use the mail.
I am looking to buy large quantities of cards and I have entered large maximums for the optimal quantity in stock.
Does Empire Games Online have a restriction on the number of an item I can purchase?
Answer - yes and no. I completely understand players do purchase items for their friends, family and/or playtest groups - You do not want to be limited to 4/8/12 of an item and I am in business to move items so I do not want to put a restriction on the amount of an item you can purchase. Due to severe market fluctuations, pricing errors, grading errors, human errors, website malfunction where items oversell, and many other reasons for limiting or refusing a sale...
We do reserve the right to refuse any sale for any reason.
For vendors who pay with an echeck payment via paypal - If your echeck order is declined by your bank we reserve the right to restock any or all of the cards in your order for the inconvenience. Please do not purchase cards from us with an echeck that will not clear to prevent us from selling cards to other customers.
Return Policy
Any item may be returned for a full refund minus shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee (or $5.00, whichever is higher.) Returns must be authorized within 24 hours of receiving your items! If you wish to "rent" cards for an event please use our buy list to return your items.

Grading Scale
Plus (+) Card is better than the listed grade, but less than the grade listed above on the chart
Minus (-) Card would be considered less than the grade listed, but above the next grade down on the chart.
Mint A perfect card. Remember-Unless PSA says so, there is no such thing as a Mint Card.
Near Mint Plus (NM+) Generally a pack fresh condition card that we have personally opened. Customers have never touched this card.
Near Mint NM A card that is in pack fresh condition and/or a card that is legal for tournament play outside of a sleeve.
Near Mint Minus (NM-) A Near Mint card with very slight surface scratches and/or a few very slight border marks.
Anything that is not NM may need sleeves for tournament play. Sleeve requirements depend on the tournament organizers - See my ebay store to combine sleeves with single card purchases!
Excellent Plus EX+ (Very Fine/ Slightly Played): A card that is very lightly played and will have more border marks than a Near Mint Minus Card, as well as some surface scratching. This card is slightly played with visible wear.
Excellent: EX (Fine / Played) A card that has seen a lot of play wear and has surface markings as well as border wear, this card is Played. Some ex/fine cards may have slight 'shuffling creases' from players who knuckle shuffle down the top or bottom middle of the card. Only cards with small top/bottom middle creases would be considered Fine/ex. A Fine/EX card would be considered played by most, but some collectors would consider this heavily played.
Excellent Minus EX- (HP Heavily Played): A heavily played card that has definitely seen better days. This is a heavily played card. This card is one step up from good, but it is in bad shape. This card will have a larger shuffling crease and will most likely be visible from both sides of the card.
Good-A card that is heavily played and has quite a bit of play wear but does not have large bends, tears, or marker. Some good cards may have very slight bends such as a small corner bend, but nothing too bad. Cards with Huge shuffling creases will be listed as good. A good card may not have bends, but the borders will be very bad. Good should not be used as a condition rating in my book, as the word you are looking for is Bad but no grading guides use bad, so we will use Good also
Poor-This card has been abused. Card will be heavily played, bent, torn, and/or markered. Anything goes with a poor condition card. I will list as many details about a poor condition card as possible. I will never stock a card that is ripped in half or worse
