Card Limit Policy (Updated August 2010)
Effective immediately we are restricting the number of items ordered or sold to us by website and eBay vendors, vendor employees and/or any order suspected of being ordered by a company by an individual outside the company to a strict limit of 4 of any item we sell. Our cards are for the players at affordable rates and our cards should not be resold on other websites for higher prices. In the event you are a vendor looking to purchase more than 4 copies of a single card we request that you email carl@empiregamesonline.net (Carl McCormick, Owner Empire Games Online) stating what you are looking to purchase and your purchase request will receive an email response stating your order is authorized or declined.
Physical stores that we deal with on a regular basis are not affectected by this policy.

Return Policy - Unclaimed Items - Restocking Fee

Any item may be returned for a full refund minus shipping costs as long as the item is in the same condition as shipped within 48 hours of receiving items - Email authorization required. EmpireGamesOnline.net/Carl McCormick assume no responsibility for items damaged or lost in the mail. Insurance is recommended against damages.
Returns must be authorized within 48 hours of receiving your items! If you wish to "rent" cards for an event please use our buy list to return your items.

In the event that you did not claim your package from the post office and items were returned you will receive a refund minus shipping + 15% restocking fee or $5.00 - whichever is higher.

 Are there account limits for empiregamesonline.net?
Yes - We currently have a one account per individual limit for all customers. If you have a business and a home address you are only permitted to have one total account.

Buy list orders received more than 10 business days (roughly 2 weeks) after order is placed
Buy prices are subject to change. Numbers constantly change in this industry and you will be contacted to see how you would like to handle the situation. Please ship all buy list orders within 24 hours of approval!

Why sell to Empire Games Online?
Your order will be processed within 24 hours after buy list items arrive (unless we're at a show) - Not 2-8 weeks later like some other websites. Paypal will happen immediately and company check will ship within 24 business hours of recieving your package! If you live close enough or if the collection is large enough I will come to you for in person processing of your order - Payment is made immediately and I'll buy items that are not on the buy list also. I will not drive an hour for $50 in cards - It's cheaper to use the mail.
We are always looking to buy large quantities of cards!

Does Empire Games Online have a restriction on the number of an item I can purchase?
Answer - yes and no. I completely understand players do purchase items for their friends, family and/or playtest groups - We understand you do not want to be limited to 4/8/12 of an item. Due to severe market fluctuations, pricing errors, grading errors, human errors, website malfunction where items oversell, and many other reasons for limiting or refusing a sale...
We do reserve the right to refuse any sale for any reason.

Attention vendors: Effective immediately you are restricted to 4 copies of any item on our website without prior email approval from carl@empiregamesonline.net. This includes buy list orders as well.
If you have restricted the amount of an item I could buy from your website then I will impose the same policy you have for your customers for you - You should not be allowed to buy x of any item from everyone else but limit others to only 4/8/10/12 of an item. If your website policy states that you do not deal with vendors we will assume the same policy for you.

Buy List Policy
Please ship all items within 24 hours of receiving approval for your order and purchase tracking and/or insurance! Empire Games Online//Carl McCormick is not responsible for buy list packages until your order is received!
All items are priced for slightly played versions of cards or better condition. If you send played cards you will not receive the ex+ or better price!

 Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by EmpireGamesOnline.net within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Refunds
Refunds are requested after we receive and process your return. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (see below for specific guidelines). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

When you order through our website, you are opting in to receive newsletters about promotions, coupons, and important company announcements. All emails are sent through ConstantContact and you may opt out if you wish to no longer receive newsletters from us or our MTG partners.

How does EmpireGamesOnline protect customer information?
We use a Secure Server for collecting personal and credit card information. The secure server layer (SSL) encrypts (scrambles) all of the information you enter before it is transmitted over the Internet and sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

What about "cookies"?
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We do not use cookies to collect or store any information about visitors or customers.

Will EmpireGamesOnline disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
EmpireGamesOnline does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. EmpireGamesOnline may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will not include personally identifying information.
